Creating Vibrant Work: 2016 SWMBIA Parade of Homes

We are pleased to share a home that we designed, which is in this year's 2016 SWMBIA Parade of Homes. This home was a unique project and a fun challenge. Originally a historic barn located on what is now the Riverside Golf Course, it was relocated to it's current location in 1978 and converted to a home then. The current owners purchased the property and hired Formescent Architects to redesign it. It was important to the owner's to keep the original barn structure. Everything else was removed down to the studs and built new. Here are a few images of the how as it looked at the parade of homes this past weekend, and prior to renovation.
